Monthly Archives: July 2014

July Ipsy

image

I know I am a little late posting this, but I really like this month’s bag!  The bag itself is gorgeous, and I cant wait to try the Tints and Sass lip and cheek stain.  I am also going to try the Be Fine Food Skin Care daily moisturizer with SPF 15.
I wont use the Dark Tanning Oil, but my mom is excited to try it!  I am a little ambivalent about the bareMinerals cream eyeshadow and the Pür mascara, but I will give them both a try.  Still well worth the $10 monthly!

Upcoming Posts

It is so hard to keep up with blogging when work is stressful, and Im annoyed at my personal life.  I have posts coming up on July’s Madd Cat Monthly, July’s Ipsy, a Shiro order, a DarlingClandestine order, and a super random road trip I am planning.  I am hoping to get one of these posts up tonight, but have to focus on cleaning and cooking first.  The best thing happening this weekend is that my Momma is coming to visit, because she is part of the upcoming road trip!  Here’s to hoping I can accomplish everything on my To-Do list by tomorrow night!

Focus on the Positive

Today has been rough.  In fact, this whole month has been terrible.  I am ready for August, and hopeful that things will get better.

On a happier note, I finally got a haircut, and it is very different for me.  And my makeup looked cute today, so there is that.

Waiting to meet my dad for dinner, home for a last minute meeting this evening, and then going to bed early.  Because sometimes sleep is the best solution.

FOTD Using Tarte

image

I share my makeup a lot, but dont always show what products I used.  For this look, I used the above Tarte palette.  I used the fourth color on top for the main lid, the third top color for the crease, and the first top color for the highlight.  I was giving a presentation, and wanted a neutral look.

And this is what happens when I look in the mirror at my face for too long…
