Shiro – Past Colors of the Month

image

I picked up a bunch of colors a few months ago when Shiro Cosmetics listed their Colors of the Month from the previous 12 month period.  This happens every summer, and I usually make a pretty big order to pick up all of the limited edition shadows I want.

All eyeshadows swatched over WnW Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer.

And I received this suicide gloss mix:

This is such a fun order!  I love all of the colors, but Damnit, Moon Moon is my favorite.  The sparkles are amazing!  And the gloss is super fun, I love the metallic look.  You can vote every month on Shiro’s Facebook page for the Color of the Month!

Essie Sleek Stick Nail Appliques *SALE ALERT*

image

These nail stickers can be found at Dollar Tree in the US right now for $1!  I picked up a bunch tonight, and used the ‘Sneek-e’ for tonight’s manicure.  The same exact stickers are selling for almost $12 at Target!

It took me less than an hour to do my nails, and I really like the designs!  And really, for $1, how can you go wrong?!

Notoriously Morbid

image

I recently picked up a few things from Notoriously Morbid…and by recently I mean a couple months ago.  Whoops.  My order came with a code for 20% off my next order, which is great.

All eyeshadow swatches over WnW Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer.

I also ordered a Coffin Kisser (lipbalm) in Lemon Pound Cake, and it’s really tasty and smooth!

I love how barbie pink the gloss is.  And of course I love the pink shadow, because I have a problem and feel the need to own every pink ever.  Follow Notoriously Morbid on Facebook for the newest info on sales!

Slumber in Peace

These colors are all pretty, and I love how smoothly they apply for mattes!  The colors are deifnitely reminiscent of woodland colors, and I think they will look great used together.

Now, the samples:

Hivemind from Scaredy Cat Cosmetics

image

Mikasa from AFK Cosmetics

image

image

Island of the Fay Opulent Opaque Lipstick from Beauty Bar Baby

image

Perfume sample in Mermaid from Midsummer Dreams Apothecary

I am loving the lipstick!  I wish it had a little flavor though, but the color is goegeous.  Im also surprised at how much I like Mikasa, it is a really pretty red, which I am not normally drawn to.

With MSC closing, I am so thankful I was able to snag this subscription!

Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stains

I have been using these lipbalms for the past few weeks, and I really like them.

From top to bottom: Nudist Colony, Red-dy or Not, Lady and the Vamp

Red-dy or Not

Lady and the Vamp

Red-dy or Not is by far my favorite.  The color is pretty, and applies evenly.  I like the formula, which is why I picked up Nudist Colony and Lady and the Vamp.  Lady and the Vamp is disappointing, I expected a deeper purple, and it is very sheer.  They also really do leave a stain, and are moisturizing, which makes them great to throw in your purse for long days.

I suggest picking up Red-dy or Not at the very least.  There is also a pink that I havent tried it yet, but I will likely pick it up soon!
