I enjoy cooking and baking, and one of my favorite things to make is a Black Russian cake. It is super quick, and ridiculously tasty.
I prefer the cake with frosting, but for kids, you can just dust it with powdered sugar.
1 Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
1 small package instant chocolate pudding
1 cup oil
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup kahlua
1/4 cup vodka
Preheat oven to 350°
Mix the cake mix and pudding mix together, add all other ingredients and mix for 4 minutes.
Pour into greased bundt pan and cook for about 50 minutes.
Let cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan.
Mix 1/4 cup kahlua with powdered sugar until smooth and only a little loose.
Use spoon to drip onto top of cake, letting it drip down the inside and outside.
As you can see from my photo, the frosting will be messy on the plate from dripping down. Once cool, the frosting will harden, and you can cut the cake as desired.
The whole process takes less than an hour and a half, including cook time, and is delicious. Enjoy!
